    Official in charge of management of Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency visits ISESCO to explore ways to promote cooperation and coordination to cater for cultural and educational needs of Al-Quds inhabitants

    The Director General of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), Dr. Salim Mohammed AlMalik, today afternoon in his office, received Mr. Mohamed Salem Cherkaoui, in charge of the management of the Rabat-based Bayt Mal Al Quds Agency.

    Talks during this meeting focused on ways to bolster cooperation ties in the fields related to the advancement of the educational situation of Al-Quds inhabitants, the protection of landmarks and Islamic sanctities in Al-Quds Al-Sharif through practical initiatives to inscribe Palestinian heritage sites as part of the programmes of ISESCO’s Islamic Heritage Committee and Archaeology Experts Committee.

    Besides, the two parties examined ways of coordination to allow Al-Quds students access to grants for pursuing their higher studies in Morocco.

    Moreover, the parties agreed to develop these issues and topics into a programme proposal of activities of comprehensive cooperation between ISESCO and the Agency to be soon examined at a joint committee meeting in order to fix the necessary procedures and measures of its implementation.
