    ISESCO mourns former ISESCO Assistant Director General for Science, Dr. Khairat Mohamed Ibne Rasa

    The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) mourned  former ISESCO Assistant Director General for Science, Dr. Khairat Mohamed Ibne Rasa, from the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, who passed away on Saturday in Lahore at the age of 93.

    ISESCO Director General Dr. Salim Mohammed AlMalik expressed his deepest condolences to the family of the deceased and to the government and people of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, praising the valuable services rendered by the deceased to ISESCO, beseeching Allah to grant His mercy on him, and expressing his condolences to his family.

    The deceased was a Pakistani figure with vast experience in scientific and educational research. He was Assistant Director General for Science at ISESCO from 1984 to1993 and Vice Chancellor of the University of the Punjab in Lahore from 1976 to 1984.
