The Director General of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), Dr. Salim Mohammed AlMalik, today in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, met with the Secretary General of King Faisal Prize (KFP), Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Sebail.
During this meeting, the two parties explored ways to promote cooperation between ISESCO and the KFP in the areas stipulated in the memorandum of understanding signed between them in Riyadh on 27 March 2018. The said MoU provides for developing joint action in the service of Islam and Muslims in intellectual, educational, scientific and cultural fields; organizing seminars, meetings and workshops in areas relevant to the Prize; and highlighting KFP’s role in supporting joint Islamic and international cultural action. The MoU also provides for encouraging organizations and institutions in and outside the Islamic world to submit their nominations for the Prize; publicizing the KFP, its goals and categories; and activating its outcomes relevant to the Organization’s areas of competence.
