ICESCO Launches “Al-Kalima” Podcast on Monday

The Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) will launch its official podcast, titled “Al-Kalima”, on Monday, 3 November 2025. The initiative comes within the framework of the efforts of ICESCO’s Media and Communication Sector to enhance the Organization’s media outreach, strengthen communication with citizens across Member States, and highlight inspiring figures and success stories from the Islamic world.
The podcast episodes will be broadcast on ICESCO’s official YouTube channel every Monday at 7:00 p.m. GMT. Mr. Osama Heikal, Head of the Media and Communication Sector at ICESCO, stated that Al-Kalima podcast is the first production of ICESCO’s newly inaugurated studio. He added that the podcast episodes and all studio-produced content will be available in five languages: Arabic, French, English, Spanish, and Russian, along with several other widely spoken languages worldwide, in order to convey ICESCO’s media message to a global audience.
Mr. Heikal explained that the podcast will serve as an intellectual platform hosting prominent thinkers, scholars, writers, and public figures from across the Islamic world to shed light on their inspiring journeys and creative contributions. The podcast will also showcase the achievements and expertise of ICESCO’s leaders and specialists in advancing education, science, and culture throughout the Islamic world, highlighting the Organization’s outstanding youth models and their innovative initiatives.
Produced by ICESCO’s Media and Communication Sector, Al-Kalima podcast aims to celebrate the cultural diversity and richness of Islamic civilization while promoting the values of dialogue, coexistence, and peace within the societies of Member States.
