ISESCO extends financial support to Rudaki Institute of Language and Literature in the Republic of Tajikistan

The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), at the request of the National Commission for Education, Science and Culture in Tajikistan, extended financial support to Rudaki Institute of Language and Literature of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan, under ISESCO Action Plan 2019-2021 that aims to promote and publish scientific research findings in Member States.

The financial support will cover the costs of acquiring the electronic equipment needed to digitize paper documents, promote the computerization of the mechanisms of national institutions operating in ISESCO’s area of competence, and support the Institute’s library in digitizing its abundent historical, cultural and linguistic books and reference material. The aim being to preserve and protect these references from damage, and make them accessible to researchers, orientalists, students, and university institutions interested in Tajikistan’s language, literature, and folklore.

For the record, the Republic of Tajikistan is a member of ISESCO since 1999.
