ISESCO Director General meets with IRCICA Director General in Makkah Al-Mukarramah

The Director General of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), Dr. Salim Mohammed AlMalik, today in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, met with Dr. Halit Eren, Director General of the Istanbul-based Research Center for Islamic History, Art and Culture (IRCICA).

During this meeting, the two parties explored ways to promote cooperation in areas of common interest and agreed on the basics of cooperation and complementarity between ISESCO and IRCICA through developing and implementing programmes and activities in the upcoming years for the benefit of Member States.

Founded in 1980, this OIC-subsidiary organ signed a cooperation agreement   with ISESCO in 2006 under which a number of activities were implemented for the benefit of Member States.
