ISESCO Director General participates at 7th Session of Baku Global Forum

The Director General of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), Dr Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri, will participate at the 7^th Session of Baku Global Forum, to be held on the theme “New Foreign Policy of the World”, on 14-16 March 2019 in Baku, Republic of Azerbaijan.

The Forum will bring together many state leaders, prime ministers, and international politicians, intellectuals and academicians representing more than 70 countries. Dr Altwaijri will give an address on “the future and motives of alliances”.

The Forum’s agenda features the discussion of many issues and themes, including “Role of major powers in changing global politics”, “Challenges of sustainable development”, “Middle Eastern partnership for security”, “Role of science and culture in making modern decisions”; and “Role of young leaders in global politics”.

It is worth mentioning that the Forum is held every year under the patronage of H.E. Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The first session was held back in January 2010 in Baku. Today, the Forum becomes among the largest global forums which tackle current issues and challenges facing the international community.
