    Signing of cooperation programme between ISESCO and Tunisian National Anti-Corruption Authority for 2019-2021

    Today, in Tunis, Republic of Tunisia, the Cooperation Programme between the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) and the (INLCC) for 2019-2021 was signed. The programme was signed for ISESCO by its Director General, Dr Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri, and for the INLCC by its President, Mr Chawki Tabib, in the presence of the Tunisian Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr Slim Khalbous; the  Minister of Women, Family, Childhood and the Elderly, Dr Neziha Labidi; and the Director of the MENA Office of the  International Peace Institute, Mr Nejib Friji.

    The programme provides for cooperation between ISESCO and INLCC in organizing a number of conferences, international and regional symposia, expert meetings, and national workshops dealing with good governance, transparency, dissemination of a culture of peace, and citizenship. It also provides for preparing a guidebook on incorporating the values of transparency, accountability and anti-corruption into school curricula.

    It is worth mentioning that the ISESCO/INLCC Joint Committee held a meeting at ISESCO headquarters on 18-19 February 2019 to assess the joint activities implemented in 2017 and 2018 under the MoU signed by the two parties on 26 May 2017 in Rabat; and review the details of their cooperation programme for 2019-2021.
