    ISESCO participates in 2nd Forum on Private-Public Partnerships in Africa

    The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) is taking part in the 2nd Forum on Private-Public Partnerships in Africa on the theme “Combined efforts for common objectives”, organized by the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy and Finance in the Kingdom of Morocco on 26 February 2019, under the high patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morocco.

    The Forum aims to promote dialogue on the challenges to development and find best solutions to improve the general framework of private-public partnerships (PPP) in Africa, through presenting several pioneering initiatives and expertise and discussing national policies and innovative mechanisms to ensure better execution of PPP contracts to achieve sustainable development.

    Attended by public and private sectors officials from many African countries, as well as investors and experts from specialized organizations and bodies, ISESCO is represented therein by Dr Mukhtar Ahmed, Advisor to ISESCO Director General and Supervisor of his Cabinet, who will give a presentation on the Organization’s efforts and achievements in PPP promotion in educational, scientific and cultural fields.
