    ISESCO Director General offers condolences to the People’s Republic of Bangladesh over victims of Dhaka fire

    The Director General of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), Dr Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri extended his sincere condolences to the leadership and people of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh over 70 people killed and others injured in a fire that burst in the centuries-old district of Dhaka.

    The Director of Bangladesh Fire Service and Civil Defense said that rescue teams have recovered 70 bodies while the number of victims is likely to increase as search operations are still underway.

    Dr Altwaijri also beseeched Allah Al-mighty to have mercy and forgiveness on the dead, give patience and solace to their families, and grant quick recovery to the injured.
