The ByYouth4Youth International Forum

The ByYouth4Youth Forum, held in Azerbaijan brought together up to 100 young leaders from across the Islamic world to engage in dynamic discussions, share innovative ideas, and collaborate on key issues. This forum, organized by ICESCO in partnership with the Ministry of Youth and Sport of the Republic of Azerbaijan aimed to empower youth as key changemakers in their communities and globally. The event featured a range of activities including panel discussions, cultural tours, and interactive sessions, all designed to highlight the pivotal role of youth in fostering peace, cultural heritage preservation, climate change mitigation, and entrepreneurship. Participants had the opportunity to present their initiatives, exchange best practices, and develop actionable recommendations, culminating in the Baku Youth Action Plan. Through this forum, ICESCO reinforced its commitment to youth engagement and support, fostering an environment where young people can thrive and drive positive change.

The forum also featured the Youth Changemakers Innovation Lab, in partnership with the Islamic Center for the Development of Trade (OIC Trade Center), hosted “The Most Innovative Youth Initiatives Awards,” focusing on employability and youth entrepreneurship. This event celebrated groundbreaking initiatives by young innovators aimed at enhancing job opportunities and fostering entrepreneurial spirit among the youth. The Youth Changemakers Innovation Lab recognized projects that demonstrated exceptional creativity, impact, and scalability in addressing employment challenges and promoting entrepreneurial ventures.
