International Youth Peace Incubator Camp
Official launch of the 2nd edition of the Leadership Training in Peace and Security (LTIPS) program
ICESCO, in partnership with the Moroccan Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication launched the 2022 edition of the LTIPS program and the International Workshop on Youth Projects Incubator of Peace in Tangier, Morocco. This two-days forum aimed to bring together high-level representatives such as ministers, experts from different regions and international institutions, and the 50 selected youth peace ambassadors from 45 different countries, to interact and engage in meaningful discussions on promoting peace and social cohesion. It was also an opportunity to interact with decision-makers and inspiring leaders and get inspired to become peace advocates in their different communities.
Some of the high-level participation, in person or virtual, include His Excellency, Dr. Salim M. AlMalik, ICESCO Director General, His Excellency, Mr. Azali Assoumani, President of the Comoros , Mr. Yayi Boni, former President of the Republic of Benin, Mr. Abdul Kalam Abdul Momen, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bangladesh, Mr. Bakary Badjie, Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Gambia, Mr. Mostafa Masoudi, Secretary General of the Moroccan Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication and Mr. Ikbog Ikimokode, Founder and President of Aji Lmokhwede Foundation in Nigeria.
