ISESCO condemns opening of a tunnel in Al-Quds by the Israeli occupation authorities and stresses its continued educational, cultural and scientific support to Palestine and Al-Quds Al-Sharif

The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) roundly condemned the opening by the Israeli occupation authorities of a tunnel named the “Path of the Pilgrims” linking Silwan town in the occupied Al-Quds city with Al-Aqsa Mosque and its vicinity.

This new settlement project, said ISESCO, is a flagrant violation of international law and UN and UNESCO resolutions calling for the inviolability of Islamic and Christian holy sites in Al-Quds Al-Sharif.

ISESCO also called on the international community to condemn this criminal act and curb the Israeli occupation from further altering the civilizational, human and religious landmarks of Al-Quds city.

ISESCO reiterated its unfailing educational, cultural and scientific support to Palestine in general and to Al-Quds Al-Sharif in particular.
