    ICESCO holds training session for Arabic language teachers in Burkina Faso

    The Center of Arabic for Non-Arabic Speakers in the Islamic World Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) organizes a training session for Arabic language teachers, in Burkina Faso, on the role of Arabic literature in teaching the Arabic language to non-Arabic speakers. This initiative is carried out in collaboration with the Burkina Faso National Commission for UNESCO and ICESCO, targeting education officers and Arabic language teachers from various cities in Burkina Faso.

    The four-day training, which kicked off on 22 January 2024, in Ouagadougou, aims to enhance the teaching skills of Arabic language teachers and educational supervisors. It also seeks to provide participants with key curricula and methods for utilizing various literary arts, such as poetry, stories, plays, articles, in teaching Arabic to non-Arabic speakers.
