7 April 2023
The Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) expresses its sincere thanks and profound gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and his Crown Prince, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman, for the unwavering support to the Organization’s efforts, plans, programmes and activities.
Dr. Salim M. AlMalik, ICESCO Director-General, commended the outstanding partnership between the Organization and many Saudi institutions, in close coordination with the Saudi National Commission for Education, Culture and Science, as presided by Prince Badr bin Farhan Al-Saud, Minister of Culture, which is manifested in many forms of strong cooperation. Such productive relation is in line with the endeavor of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to enhance the roles of international organizations, especially those operating in the fields of education, culture and science, and in harmony with the Kingdom Vision 2030 aimed at exploring new prospects for intelligent creativity in various socio-economic and cultural activities.
Dr. AlMalik added that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has set an example for the efforts geared towards supporting the Organization by fulfilling all its financial obligations to ICESCO, amounting to eighteen million seven hundred thousand dollars, which constitutes an unprecedented initiative mirroring the steady progress and successful achievements within ICESCO.
In this regard, Dr. AlMalik has sent two letters of thanks and gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and his Crown Prince, Prince Muhammad bin Salman, expressing the Organization’s pride in this continued support, which will certainly result in remarkable achievements, Allah willing, in many parts of our Islamic world.
