A joint delegation from the Arab Women Organization (AWO), the Ministry of Solidarity, Social Integration and Family in the Kingdom of Morocco, and participants in two workshops on promoting gender equality and supporting women entrepreneurs, visited the International Exhibition and Museum of the Prophet’s Seerah and Islamic Civilization currently hosted at the headquarters of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) in Rabat.

Dr. Salim M. AlMalik, ICESCO Director General (DG) received the delegation comprising Dr. Fadia Kiwan, AWO Director-General, and Dr. Houria Khalifa Al-Tarmal, Libyan Minister of State for Women’s Affairs, on Tuesday, 17 January 2023, and explained to them that this initiative is the fruit of a strategic partnership between the Organization, the Muslim World League (MWL) and Morocco’s Mohammadia League of Scholars.

He pointed out that the exhibition is attracting a large number of visitors and uses modern technology and artificial intelligence techniques to highlight the civilizational aspects of the biography of Muhammad (PBUH) and details about his life.

The delegation was introduced to the elements displayed in the exhibition’s pavilions and sections and the modern display technologies used to virtually transport the visitor back to the Prophet’s era.

Following the tour, AWO Director-General expressed her amazement at the information that the exhibition presents and the modern technology it uses, congratulating ICESCO, MWL and the Mohammadia League of Scholars for this commendable scientific work.

For her part, Dr. Al-Tarmal expressed her delight at visiting the exhibition and thanked the organizers, noting that the museum takes visitors on a spiritual journey to discover different facets of the Prophet’s biography.
