    Various Presentations on heritage, Artificial Intelligence and Climate Change at ICESCO Pavilion at COP 27

    The pavilion of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) at COP27, in Sharm El-Sheikh, continues its various activities. On Monday, November 14, 2022, ICESCO held several seminars, panel discussions and simulations, during which the Heads of Sectors and Experts reviewed the Organization’s activities, efforts and programmes as well as its various roles in education, science, culture and communication.

    Dr. Kais Al-Hammami, Director of ICESCO Strategic Foresight Center, gave a presentation on “Artificial Intelligence and Climate Transformation… Between Opportunities and Challenges.”

    For his part, Dr. Foued El-Ayni, Expert at the Science and Technology Sector, gave a presentation on training on adapting to climate change and preparing projects to mitigate its effects, while Dr. Abdelmajid Tribak, ICESCO Expert in joint environmental action, gave a presentation on “Women and Climate Changes… Roles and Initiatives.”

    Mr. Nassim Mohand, Dr. Nami Salihi, and Dr. Osama Al Nahas, Experts in ICESCO Culture and Communication Sector, also gave separate presentations respectively on the role of youth in dealing with the impact of climate change on heritage, the impact of climate change on the coastal edge of St. Louis historical city in the Republic of Senegal and on simulation activities.
