ICESCO Participates in Launching Ceremony of Al-Quds Al-Sharif Award for Journalistic Excellence, in Rabat

Dr. Salim AlMalik, Director-General of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO), participated in the launching ceremony of Al-Quds Al-Sharif Award for Journalistic Excellence in Developmental Media, within the cooperation framework between Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency, the Moroccan Higher Institute of Information and Communication and the Institute of Modern Media of Al-Quds University, in Palestine.
During the ceremony, held at the headquarters of the Higher Institute of Information and Communication, in Rabat, on February 10, 2022, the parties signed a framework agreement to strengthen cooperation and partnership between the Institute and Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency, the executive body of Al-Quds Committee, which is chaired by His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morocco.
The Award aims to foster future generations’ awareness of the challenges facing the Palestinian cause and encourage media and communication students in the Kingdom of Morocco and Al Quds, Palestine, to produce media content reflecting the reality and future of Al Quds. The Award is open for the students at the Moroccan Higher Institute of Information and Communication and the Institute of Modern Media of Al-Quds University. It includes three categories, namely television survey, radio survey and printed press release.
