    As part of 5th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue in Baku, ISESCO held a roundtable on the role of religious leaderships and academic institutions in the promotion of dialogue and respect of cultural diversity

    As part of the proceedings of the 5th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue  held in Baku, Republic of Azerbaijan, from 2 to 3 May 2019, the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) held a roundtable on the role of religious leaderships and academic institutions in the promotion of dialogue and respect of cultural diversity through concrete initiatives. The Forum’s motto was “Building dialogue into action against discrimination, inequality and violent conflict”.

    The roundtable was conducted by Dr Yahya Pallavicini  President of the Supreme Council of Education, Culture and Science for Muslims outside the Islamic World, ISESCO Goodwill Ambassador. The table gathered a number of the Council members from France, Albania, Spain, Finland, Italy, the United States of America, Britain and Russia presented their respective initiatives and successful experiences.
