ISESCO Director General moved by damages to ancient civilizational landmark of Notre Dame de Paris Cathedral
The Director General of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), Dr Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri, expressed his grief over the damages that befell Notre Dame de Paris Cathedral, the history-steeped civilizational landmark inscribed on the World Heritage List, due to the massive blaze that devastated most of its buildings and priceless treasures.
ISESCO Director General stated that the Cathedral is part of the human heritage and its damage is a huge loss for this heritage as a whole.
On this occasion, Dr Altwaijri extended his sympathy to the French people at these sorrowful moments.
