Tunisian Head of Government opens Palace of Arts and Letters, and receives the shield of the celebration of Tunis Capital of Islamic Culture.
Today morning in Tunis, Mr Youssef Chahed, Tunisian Head of Government, opened the Palace of Arts and Letters in the presence of Dr Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri, Director General of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO); Dr Mohamed Zine El-Abidine, Tunisian Minister of Cultural Affairs; a number of ISESCO Member States ministers of culture, and heads of some Arab and Islamic organizations.
On the occasion, ISESCO Director General presented the shield of the celebration of Tunis as the Arab region’s Capital of Islamic Culture for 2019 to the Tunisian Head of Government in recognition of his patronage of the launch of its activities and programmes.
