    ISESCO participates in Islamabad in First Meeting of the Steering Committee for the Implementation of OIC Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) Agenda 2026 

    The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) is taking part in the 1st Meeting of the Steering Committee for the Implementation of OIC Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) Agenda 2026, held by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), in collaboration with the OIC Ministerial Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation (COMSTECH), on 18-19 March 2019, in Islamabad, Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

    ISESCO is represented in this Meeting by Dr Ahmad Mukhtar, Adviser and Supervisor of the Cabinet of ISESCO Director General.

    Established by the Third Islamic Summit Conference, held in Makkah Al Mukarramah/ Ta’if in January 1981, the COMSTECH serves as the OIC permanent ministerial committee for scientific and technological cooperation. Its Board of Administration is headed by the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
