ISESCO condemns Israeli occupation police’s seal of Al-Aqsa Mosque’s Al-Rahma Gate
The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) condemned the seal by the Israeli occupation forces of Al-Rahma Gate, one of Al-Aqsa Mosque’s historic gates located in its eastern part.
In this regard, ISESCO Director General, Dr Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri stated that this criminal act, which disregards the sanctity of the first Qibla and third Sacred Mosque, is a violation of the international law, a provocation of Muslims’ feelings and an attack on their sanctities.
Dr Altwaijri also called upon the United Nations and the international organizations concerned to promptly intervene to force the Israeli authorities to remove the iron chains on Al-Rahma Gate building, which is part and parcel of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and put end to the Zionist entity’s disregard for the Arab-Islamic civilizational heritage of Al-Quds and to the ongoing Judization and obliteration of its Arab-Islamic identity.
