Post objective
The Manager is responsible for leading and managing the Human Resources (HR) department, including the development and implementation of the overall HR strategy and ensuring its alignment with the Organization’s vision and objectives.
Tasks
- Develops the Organization’s HR strategy and oversees the work of the Human Resources Department team in carrying out all HR-related operations;
- Provides reports on all HR-related activities and leads HR projects;
- Ensures the implementation of HR monitoring tools and the application of internal personnel rules and other regulations in force governing the duties, obligations, privileges, benefits and rights of the Organization’s personnel;
- Oversees the preparation and implementation of training and development programs to enhance staff capabilities.
- Ensures the fair and consistent application of disciplinary measures, and reviews and advises on policies likely to avoid recurring conflict situations;
- Plans and forecasts human resources requirements.
- Promote a dynamic, high-performance culture among all staff, based on ICESCO’s values.
Qualifications and requirements
Academic qualifications:
- An academic degree (Master) in a specialty suitable for the tasks and duties of the job.
Professional experience:
Have no less than 8 years of experience in one of the following areas:
- A minimum of Eight years progressively responsible relevant experience in human resources management, including personnel administration, recruitment, training and development, is required
- At least three years relevant experience as a human resources manager or team leader in a human resources department, in an international organization.
- Extensive experience in developing partnerships and mobilizing resources.
Languages:
- Proficiency in at least two of ICESCO’s three working languages: Arabic, English and French.
