Signing a number of agreements aimed at promoting awareness of the importance of the three pillars of joint climate action under the UK presidency of COP26 with the support of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change:
Developing an action programme to set the global goal on adaptation, which will identify collective needs and solutions to the climate crisis that is already affecting many countries.
Jointly bridging this gap and supporting efforts geared towards preventing the rise of temperature over 1.5 degrees Celsius. The parties also expressed their willingness to make further efforts to reduce emissions rates.
