The International Symposium
Translation and Security: The Role of Translation in Enhancing National and International Security

The Islamic World Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) and Naif Arab University for Security Sciences (NAUSS) announce the organization of an international symposium on “The Role of Translation in Enhancing National and International Security.”

This symposium aims to explore various dimensions of the role of translation in security, ranging from security-focused translation that supports intelligence and counterterrorism efforts to humanitarian translation contributing to the management of international crises. It will also examine the impact of modern technological advancements, such as artificial intelligence and machine translation, on the future of security and translation work, opening new opportunities for collaboration between security institutions and language experts.

This initiative seeks to provide an academic platform that brings together policymakers, experts, and researchers to discuss innovations, exchange experiences, and explore strategies for leveraging translation to strategically enhance security and stability worldwide.
