Meeting between ISESCO Director General and Ambassadors, Permanent Delegates of African Group at UNESCO to promote cooperation relations between ISESCO and African Member States
The Director General of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), Dr. Salim Mohammed AlMalik, today at UNESCO headquarters in Paris, met with the Ambassadors, Permanent Delegates of the African Group at the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
The Permanent Delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at UNESCO oversaw the organization of this meeting, in cooperation with the Permanent Delegation of the Republic of Gabon at UNESCO, acting as Chair of the African Group.
During this meeting, the two parties explored ways to promote and develop the prospects of cooperation between ISESCO and the African Member States in the fields of education, science, culture and communication, under ISESCO’s Three-Year Action Plan for 2019-2021.
At the close of the meeting, the Permanent Delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at UNESCO held a reception in honor of ISESCO Director General, which was attended by the Ambassadors, Permanent Delegates of the African Group at UNESCO.
